¶ No laser emission inspection
When using Mega to carry out a certain project, it was found that the machine only moved but did not emit laser engraving. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the problem.
The reasons why the laser does not work may be as follows:
- If the working power is set too low, no laser will be emitted when it is below 5%
- The optical path is offset or occluded
- The laser tube or laser power supply is damaged
¶ 1.Check whether there is obvious arc generated in the laser tube during engraving at a power of more than 50%
If so, it indicates that the laser tube and laser power supply are working properly. Turn to 2
If the laser tube does not light up, consider power supply or laser tube failure. Turn to 3
¶ 2.Check the position where the laser reaches in the optical path.
Control the emission and pause of the laser and set the power to 15%
！！! Be careful and stay away from the light path
Place the materials on the second and third mirrors
If the laser can be seen shining on the material, the light path is normal. turn to 2.1
If the burning point is offset, it needs to be corrected by adjusting the position of the mirror. Reference video for correcting the optical path：
¶ 2.1 Inspect the tube
- Check whether the reflector is firmly adhered
- Whether the Mirror base is offset in the vertical direction
- Whether the focusing lens is dirty and blocked
Is the air nozzle dirty and clogged
¶ 3. Confirm the damaged parts
- When the machine is powered on, the yellow light remains on constantly
- The green light comes on when the laser is working
- If the green light does not come on during the engraving process, the laser power supply is faulty
- When the green light is on during the engraving process but there is no arc in the laser tube, the laser tube is faulty.
