MEGA CO2 Laser Engraver and Cutter is classified as a Class 4 laser product
according to international standard IEC 60825-1, and it complies with the perfor-
mance standards of the U.S. FDA 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11, excluding Laser
Product Standard No. 56, as of May 19, 2019. Laser Product Standard No. 56,
issued by the U.S. FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health, allows manu-
facturers to classify and manufacture their products according to international stan-
dards. The embedded laser output is also included in this standard.

tion.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncon
trolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a mini
mum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body.
The following areas of your MEGA device contain warning labels:
• Before operating the device, carefully read and familiarize yourself with all safety
instructions.
• Users must follow all safety precautions and ensure the device is properly set up and
in good working condition.
Before each use, inspect the following:
• Always check the device (including the internal glass laser tube, cover, mirrors, focus
lens, and warning labels) for damage. If any damage is found, contact our customer
service immediately.
• Before processing, ensure that the air duct and hose are properly installed.
• Do not modify the hardware or tamper with the operating software of the device.
Users should not attempt to repair MEGA equipment on their own.
• The device must always be supervised while in operation, and the operator must
monitor the equipment throughout the process. If any abnormality is detected,
press the emergency stop button immediately and disconnect the power. Contact
our professional after-sales service.
• After use, ensure the device is powered off.
• Keep the interior of the machine clean. Debris from cutting or engraving can pose
a fire hazard; regularly clean the device.
• The working temperature of the device is 10°C-30°C, and the storage temperature
is 10°C-45°C. The operating humidity should be between 20-85%. Do not operate
the device outside these conditions.
• Do not allow minors, untrained personnel, or individuals with physical or mental
impairments to install, operate, maintain, or repair the device as per this manual
and software guide.
• Any untrained individuals near the device during operation must be informed that
the device poses a danger and should be given clear instructions on how to avoid
injury.
• Ensure that a fire extinguisher, water hose, or other fire suppression systems are
available nearby in case of emergencies. The local fire station's phone number
should be prominently displayed.

• Only use grounded power sources with voltage fluctuations under 5% that are
stable and compatible. Do not use ungrounded adapters, such as 3-prong to
2-prong adapters. Regularly check for damaged cables or loose connections.
• Do not share the power outlet with other devices, as the laser system may
require full current capacity. Avoid using extension cords or power strips.
• Adjustments, maintenance, and repairs to the device's electrical components
must be performed by qualified personnel to avoid fire, malfunction, or damage,
including potential exposure to radiation from laser components. Testing of the
laser system's electrical components requires specialized expertise and should
be conducted by the manufacturer, vendor, or authorized service personnel.
• Adjustments, maintenance, and repairs should only be performed when the
device is turned off, disconnected from the power supply, and fully cooled down,
unless otherwise specified.
• Maximum RF output power: Wi-Fi 2.4G (2412-2472 MHz) <20 dBm.
The MEGA device is equipped with an integrated Class 4 laser system with a
wavelength of 10.6μm, beam divergence of 3.1 mrad, and maximum power of 70W.
Improper use of the laser equipment may result in:
• Ignition of nearby flammable materials
• Emission of radiation or harmful gases
• Direct contact with the laser, causing severe burns or irreversible eye damage
To safely use the laser, please follow these instructions:
• The MEGA device features safety interlocks. If the front or rear access doors or
covers are opened during operation, the controller will shut off the laser, so no
additional safety precautions are required for operating the laser. The interlock
doors can be opened without tools. Opening any interlock door during operation
will immediately stop laser emission.
• The MEGA round control panel has password protection. Before using the
device, users must input a password or swipe a designated gesture on the con
trol panel to unlock the laser.
• During operation, do not place any part of your body in the path of the laser,
regardless of whether it is firing.
• The device includes a visible green laser component to help adjust the beam
position. This laser complies with IEC 60825 standards. Avoid direct eye expo
sure to both visible and invisible laser beams.
• The MEGA device is equipped with a water-cooling system for laser heat dissipa
tion. If the water cooling system is not functioning correctly (e.g., high tempera
ture, insufficient water, or slow flow rate), do not use the laser under any circum
stances. Once the cooling system is restored, ensure the coolant is flowing prop
erly before using the device.
• Clean up debris, such as wood chips, immediately after processing, as they may
pose a fire hazard during subsequent operations.
• Before using the device, add cooling liquid to the system by removing the back panel
and filling the internal water tank with water or coolant.
• Check all parts for damage before use. Do not operate the device if any parts are
damaged.
(1) Use the included hex wrench to remove the socket screws from the back panel .
(2) Open the top cover and remove the screws from the internal baffle .
(3) Remove the screws from the bottom of the device .
(4) After unscrewing, lift the rear panel upward to remove it.
(1) After removing the back panel, unscrew the water tank cap and insert a funnel into
the water inlet. Add coolant, ensuring the liquid does not exceed the fill line.
(2) After adding the coolant, tighten the water inlet cap and reattach the rear panel
using the appropriate screws.
• If you are in a region with sub-zero temperatures, add the appropriate ratio of anti-
freeze to purified water according to the table. It is recommended to use a graduated
measuring cup during the process.
(1) Connect the air duct adapter to the exhaust port at the rear right corner of the device,
and secure the air duct hose to the adapter using a clamp.
Note: Do not place the other end of the air duct hose indoors; position it outdoors or con-
nect it to an air filter box.
(1) Use the provided power cord to plug the device into a 110V household outlet.
(2) Turn on the red power switch on the device to start it.
