ΒΆ MEGA/MEGA-S uses the MDH laser head for the best focus test
You can access the focus test function in the device settings.
The "Start Z-axis" and "End Z-axis" determine the distance of the Z-axis descent. The recommended range is 25mm to 32mm. The power is recommended at 20%, and the speed is 100mm/s. If the power is too high or the speed is too slow, the engraved lines will become thicker.
After the carving is completed, you can find the thinnest horizontal line among them. This is the optimal focal point.
On the focus calculation page, fill in the distance from the laser head air nozzle to the honeycomb panel, the optimal distance for the Z-axis descent to achieve the focus, and the material thickness. After completing these entries, the calculation can be done and it will be found that 4.5mm is the optimal focal length.
